Wayne Harrison has been airbrushing for over 30 years and holds a current Vehicle Certificate to Apply Murals & Graphics on Cars. With his Artworks winning Awards in USA and Australia. Also his artwork has received a lot of  awards for Top Graphics and Airbrush Art (Murals) throughout the automotive shows around Australia e.g. Auto Salon, Motorex  and many others. In the years when Panel vans were big, Wayne's work won many top custom paint awards. His company during these times was called  "FANTASY MURALS" at Blacktown, he was well known to all. His Mentor and close friend is and always will be "Frank Lee" As a young man Frank offered Wayne his future. The advise and support is what has driven Wayne over the years. Which is why Wayne now prides himself on offering the same support and advise to others who ask.

In 1992 Wayne formed his current business Advanced
Airbrush with his wife Joanne, which was built on the cutting edge of airbrushing. Changing all the rules & becoming the leaders of Airbrushing in Australia.

Wayne's next step was to gain recognition for for his      work and to see what the world offered.

In 1995 he entered his first overseas competition "AIRSTORM 95" in Atlanta USA and won 1ST PLACE in the Alternative section.

Wayne and Joanne also started the first Airbrush Expo in 1998, with the desire to get all local Airbrush Artists from all around Australia and New Zealand to unite and support each other, with visiting Atlanta in 95 for the "Airstorm 95" he realised what an asset America had having the support from each other and the chance to drive each other and keep growth growing in this trade. So as they had a financially strong business, they and their company financially supported the show and took a major risk.

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

 Over 500 people attended with guys coming from as far as New Zealand for the show. We had Workshops, Seminars,information and much more.

  In 1999 the Sign industry offered us the opportunity to come to Darling Harbour (Sydney) and run our show there. We had the support of several top Airbrush Artists doing displays , sprints etc... The numbers to the show had gone throughout the roof, In 2001 Australia Airbrush Art magazine was our Major sponsor for the Event and also run the show and its history in the magazine.

In 1999, Wayne and Joanne also started the "National Australian Airbrush Association Inc." the show has now been handed over to the Association to run and organise as it needs to be run by the people for the people, not by one couples ideas and dreams.

1999/2000 Wayne also entered the "Sign Off" Awards for the Sign Industry of Australia and won 1st Place for Automotive.

2002 Wayne started working for Virgin Blue Airbrushing its full fleet of Air craft with the virgin Maiden. He currently has now airbrushed over 57 Aircrafts and meet the famous Sir Richard
Branson on a couple of occassions

In 2003 Wayne was approached by 2 Malaysian Business men who asked for help to set up Malaysia's first professional Airbrush Business. He did this with great honour. He went to Malaysia throughout 2004, 2005 on several visits training the staff and supporting and advising the owners. He has also worked in conjunction with Nitro on several large projects over the years including International Aircraft Art.

   

In 2005 Wayne was approached by Microsoft X Box to complete a range of  Custom Xboxs for promotion and fundraising.

This grew over the years quite quickly to include Celebrities, Artists, Actors and you will see the work Wayne did here on the page "Airbrushing the Famous"

  in 2007 Wayne also produced with fellow business parter Scott from Vision TV the first of many Learn  to Airbrush DVD. There will be many volumes available soon. Automotive, Fine Arts etc.

Wayne appeared on Sunrise and here you see a picture he and Adrian painted of Koshie and Mel, also there is a picture of him in Caricature that Koshie liked so much and put on the cover of his joke book.See below for pictures. As you can see Adrian and Wayne each have their own
